DISS customer support transitions in August

Beginning Monday, Aug. 2, 2021, helpdesk support for the Defense Information System for Security (DISS), Defense Central Index for Investigations (DCII) and Secure Web Fingerprint Transmission (SWFT) will be provided by the DCSA Customer Engagements Team at 724-794-7765 or dcsa.ncr.nbis.mbx.contact-center@mail.mil. Until that time, customers should continue to contact the DISS help desk at 800-467-5526 or dcsa.ncr.nbis.mbx.contact-center@mail.mil for any issues they encounter.

Personnel Security Investigations for Industry memos
Aug. 2, 2021 - Industry should disregard any memorandums received by the Government Contracting Activity about the suspension of submissions of personnel security investigation requests. DCSA is not suspending the submission of Industry personnel security investigation requests. Facility security officers should continue to submit personnel security investigation requests to the Vetting Risk Operations Center for processing.

Customer Engagements Team (CET)
July 26, 2021 - Effective 2 August 2021, support of DISS, DCII, and SWFT users will transition to the DCSA Customer Engagements Team (CET). Until then, users should continue to utilize the DMDC helpdesk for their support requirements. The CET contact information is 724-794-7765 or dcsa.ncr.nbis.mbx.contact-center@mail.mil

DCSA deploys NBIS Release 3.0
July 20, 2021 - DCSA has successfully deployed Release 3.0 of the National Background Investigation Services (NBIS). A follow up to Release 2.6, this deployment adds enhanced capabilities for subject and risk management, industry support, and continuous vetting. The features are part of an ongoing NBIS release rollout, ensuring that all functionalities receive appropriate user acceptance testing in a phased approach. Click title for more information
