DCSA's DOD Insider Threat Management and Analysis Center (DITMAC) has released a new companion podcast to the monthly BTAC Bulletin newsletter, "Beyond the Bulletin." Co-hosts Pete Lapp and Dr. Kristin Schneider will be joined each month by special guests to explore emerging issues surrounding insider threat and behavioral threat assessment and management. The series will offer research, best practices, and insights on the topics that will help drive insider threat programs closer to full maturity.
The inaugural guest for November, DITMAC's James Shappell, discusses the Behavioral Threat Analysis Center (BTAC), the Bulletin, the podcast, and the roadmap ahead for all of these resources.
The BTAC provides tailored insider threat case-specific recommendations in behavioral science, threat management, cyber, counterintelligence, law enforcement, and human resources. The BTAC Bulletin provides monthly insights into risk topics with content focusing on training, reference material and other resources relevant to leaders and insider threat professionals. The full publication library is available online at: https://www.dcsa.mil/Counterintelligence-Insider-Threat/DITMAC/
