Our Mission
The Security Training Component provides security products and services to ensure maximal human performance in credibility assessment, industrial security, information security, insider threat, personnel vetting, physical security and special access program missions through training, education, and quality assurance.
Learning Centers
The DCSA Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) provides high-quality security training, education, and resources for the Department of War, industry partners, and other federal organizations. (In 2024, the DCSA Security Academy was established to train DCSA employees and provide specific training to industry, but all industry training content is available under CDSE resources.)
The National Center for Credibility Assessment (NCCA) is the federal government’s sole provider of credibility assessment education and training; conducts audits of agencies’ polygraph quality assurance programs against federal standards; and has the mission to evaluate and recommend credibility assessment equipment and protocols for use in the Department of War.
