Agency names new NBIS Program Manager

The Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) has selected Robert “Rob” Schadey as the new Program Manager for the National Background Investigation Services (NBIS). In this role, Mr. Schadey will lead program planning and technical and analytical support related to acquisition, cost management, scheduling, development, deployment, and performance for the NBIS program. Mr. Schadey will also implement policies, procedures, and strategies governing the planning and operational delivery of services throughout the Federal enterprise and integrate NBIS operational capabilities and services.  

Prior to this role, Mr. Schadey served as the Acting Deputy PEO Enterprise Information Systems with the U.S. Army, where he led and advised on digital transformation, stakeholder engagement, agile delivery of solutions, as well as developed and recommended innovative approaches to manage and streamline programs and processes.  

Mr. Schadey' s appointment will be effective March 10, 2024.  

Mr. Schadey’s proven record and demonstrated leadership skills make him ideally suited to continue the development and deployment of NBIS.
