QUANTICO, Va. – The Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Security Training (ST) is announcing the Virtual Security Conference for Industry on April 23-24, 2025. Registration for this online conference is live now. This year’s theme is “the Power of Partnership: Trust in People, Facilities, Systems, and Data” and will have speakers from across the agency to share current updates and best practices for industry security professionals.
The event will accommodate up to 3,000 industry security professionals, including FSOs, security directors, insider threat senior program officials, information system security managers, mission support personnel, and more. The two-day conference will be hosted on Adobe Connect, with various session topics and interactive panel discussions designed to strengthen relationships between government and industry by fostering a comprehensive exchange of ideas, collaboration, and share best security practices across different roles and security disciplines.
Discussion topics this year include: DCSA Overview: a look at DCSA’s five major missions and how they support national security; Security Rating Scorecard Implementation: provides an update on the rating scorecard developed with NISPPAC; Section 847: DCSA’s process for vetting FOCI and ownership in the NISP; and panels with DCSA subject matter experts, as well as opening remarks from the Director and Deputy Director of DCSA.
