STEPP transitions to D-ICAM access to align under DOD Zero Trust

The Security Training, Education, and Professionalization Portal (STEPP) transition from MyAccess to the DCSA Information Systems Agency Identity, Credential, and Access Management (D-ICAM) system has been delayed to May 12, 2025. This change affects all STEPP smartcard users, username and password access will remain unchanged.
 
Accessing STEPP after May 12, 2025:
You can access STEPP using your CAC/PIV card in two ways:
 
  1. Directly: Visit the STEPP login page: https://cdse.usalearning.gov/local/pwt_privacy_policy/view.php and select "Login via D-ICAM.” An authentication window will appear, select your certificate to continue.
  2. Via your D-ICAM account: Log in to your D-ICAM account at https://icam.dcsa.mil/ and select "Sign in with PIV/CAC card.” An authentication window will appear, select your certificate to continue. On the next screen select the STEPP application.

  • General Guidance: Click the "Help" link on the STEPP login screen for additional information.
  • D-ICAM Authentication Issues: For problems creating or accessing your D-ICAM account, please email: dcsa.zerotrust@mail.mil
    • Please report all authentication issues. If authentication issue persists, users can leverage the “Login via MyAccess” option until May 14, 2025 and username access until the issue is resolved.
  • STEPP Login Issues: For other STEPP login problems, please submit a help desk ticket: https://cdse.usalearning.gov/blocks/help_desk/newticket.php and select "Access - Unable to access via Smartcard." We aim to resolve all login issues within 48 hours of submission.
Key Changes:
  • No More MyAccess: You will no longer use MyAccess to log in to STEPP after May 14, 2025.
  • CAC/PIV Required: Accessing STEPP will require use of your CAC/PIV card.
