Additional resources now available for NITAM

Since 2019, National Insider Threat Awareness Month (NITAM) has been held annually in September, a month-long event that brings together security professionals and policy experts from both government and private industry with the stated goal of educating organizations about the risks posed by insider threats and the role of insider threat programs.

As the reach of NITAM grows each year so do the available resources. The official NITAM website features a wealth of resources to help increase awareness, including case studies, briefings, posters and a variety of training tools. And listen to DCSA Director David Cattler as he talks about the importance of this year's theme, "Deter, Detect, Mitigate," and how as the premier provider of integrated security services, DCSA secures the trustworthiness of the U.S. government workforce through continuous vetting.
