Currently DCSA has the ability to provide e-Adjudication shared services for Tier 1, Tier 3 and Tier 3 reinvestigations, which will continue to support executive branch agencies in meeting adjudication timeliness requirements established by the 2004 Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act. DCSA will continue to provide a standardized, automated adjudication capability that improves adjudicative quality and efficiency. e-Adjudication business rules enable a uniform and consistent mechanism that will support reciprocity of adjudications, allowing agencies to refocus adjudicative resources on more complex cases.

Agencies that wish to use e-Adjudication must either use DCSA’s e-Delivery functionality or the Defense Information System for Security (DISS). If you would like to request more information about e-Adjudication, please contact your agency’s DCSA Agency Liaison at 724-794-5612.

In May 2016, an interagency working group composed of representatives from the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), the Department of Defense (DoD), the Performance Accountability Council Program Management Office (PACPMO), and the Security, Suitability, and Credentialing Line of Business (SSCLB) convened to develop government wide e-Adjudication business rules in accordance with the 2016 adjudicative guidelines and products.
