Secure Web Fingerprint Transmission (SWFT)

Secure Web Fingerprint Transmission (SWFT) is the Department of Defense (DoD) enterprise system enabling Defense industry and federal agency users to submit electronic fingerprints (e-fingerprints) and demographic information to DCSA's Fingerprint Transaction System (FTS) for individuals who require an investigation by the DCSA for a personnel security clearance.

All SWFT Organizational Admin accounts, including Industry, DoD and Non-DoD agencies, should be sent over to DCSAFTSTeam@mail.mil for provisioning. Please reach out if there are questions about the submission process.

Regular Weekly Maintenance Outage:

The SWFT system may be unavailable every Wednesday from 1800 to Thursday 0300 ET (1500-0000 PT) due to maintenance. Other system outages may be scheduled and announced as needed.

Regular Monthly Maintenance Outage:

The SWFT system will be unavailable every first Wednesday of the Month from 1800-2300 ET (1500-2000 PT) due to maintenance. Other system outages may be scheduled and announced as needed.
