NI2 (National Industrial Security System, Increment II)

NI2 Overview: The National Industrial Security System (NISS) Increment II (NI2) System will streamline Industrial Security processes by incorporating existing and emerging workflows into a unified cloud environment. This includes integrating the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) Contract Classification System (NCCS) bridge solution, Section 847 Pilot, and current NISS functions. By automating data integration from various government, public, and commercial sources, NI2 will enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and facilitate information sharing across the DOD. Ultimately, this modernized system will provide a single, comprehensive platform equipped to handle the current and future needs of Industrial Security and its government partners.
